Personalizing your online store should be one of the first things you do when you Join Avon! It’s really easy to do, but really important! Let’s talk about some of the Reason’s why you need to personalize your Avon Online Store and I’ll show you how to edit your Avon Online Store.
How to Edit Your Avon Online Store
Log in to AvonNow.com with your account number and password. From your laptop or desk top, Click the Manage Business tab, Click on Web Office, Under Marketing Tools click on edit online store/upload photo. From your mobile device, click the menu in the upper left corner of the screen, click manage business, web office, then edit online store/upload photo.
Here’s a Short cut: From your computer, click on My Store in the upper right corner of the screen, the click edit store. From your mobile device, click my store, then click edit store.
Anywhere you see the pink pencil icon – you can edit the content.
Personalize your Avon Online Store with a Photo
When a customer is shopping with you, especially for the first time, they want to know they are in the right place! Personalize your Avon Online Store by adding a photo of you. Try to avoid adding a stock photo of product . Make it an actual photo of you so people who know you, have confidence they are shopping from you. But also so that new customer can identify with you and feel like they know you. We all know this is relationship business. So helping them feel connected to you in that first impression is key!
Click the pink pencil next to the photo. Click Change Photo. Upload the photo from your computer files or photo library, then click Save Changes.
Update your Connect with Me Section
Display Options: Be sure all the contact info in the Connect with Me section is current and showing all the info you want. You can also customize badges for your sales level achievement and your leader title in this section.
Social Accounts: Select the next tab to connect all your Social Accounts to help your customers follow you on all your social media platforms and connect with you even more! You can help customers follow you on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter.
Customize the Banner of your Avon Online Store
Click the pink pencil icon near the featured banner. You’ll be able to choose which background you want featured on your banner. This is your customer’s first impression. I personally keep the banner on default. The great thing about this is that Avon will change your online store banner image each campaign featuring what is on the current. This is less work for me – and I know my Avon Online Store will always be up to date!
Update your About Me Section
Get creative here! You have 1,000 characters to talk to your customers. Maybe you want to share your “Why”. Why you Joined the Avon Team. Maybe you share the Opportunity to Join Avon Free? Maybe you want to update this every campaign and share your favorite products for that campaign to help you Sell Avon.
Final Content Spots
The lower left and right widgets are your last chances to edit your Avon online store. There are many different images to feature but here is my Tip from the Top!
The lower left spot I include one of my youtube videos! That’s right – you can embed a video directly onto your Avon online store. Click the pink pencil, select embed video, then copy and paste the youtube video you’d like to include. You can also choose one of Avon’s stock videos or even add the skin care finder quiz.
The lower right hand spot I include my Sweeptakes Link! Click the pink pencil to edit, go to features, and select the “Enter for a Chance to Win” widget. THIS is a MUST!!! This is your opportunity to collect emails for your address book so that Avon will market to your contacts for you! Your customer’s can enter Avon’s monthly sweeptakes, usually $200-400 worth of products. No purchase necessary and no cost to you! Use the resources and tools that Avon provides for us!
But don’t stop there! Once you have the Sweeps Link saved to your lower right corner spot. Go to your online store, scroll down & click on the sweeps link. Then copy this url and share it everywhere to everyone on social media, text to friends, and grow your email list so that you can start to grow your customer base!
Use the sweeps as your giveaway at events! Yes! Invite visitors to your booth to enter the sweepstakes right from their phone! They are entered to win Avon’s monthly giveaway at no cost to you – and you are collecting contact info to follow up via phone & text but they will also be receiving emails marketing from Avon on your behalf!
